Toy Story cake
Vanilla Sour cream cake with vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant. The "Happy Birthday" logo was made from fondant, and I added Tylose powder so it would harden. I propped it up against the side of the cake (as per the client's design) I made the topper using my Arts and Crafts skills. I cut out a piece of foamcore board, and glued wrapping paper to it. I then bought a Toy Story notebook, and cut out the images i wanted and glued a collage on the board. I then stuck a wooden dowel through it and stuck it through the top.
King Boo cake
I made this cake for a young boy who is facinated with Super Mario. This character is featured in the game, but don't ask me what it is or does, I'm new to all that. This cake is Vanilla sour cream coverd in buttercream and fondant. The tounge is made from Rice Crispies, and covered in fondant. I cheated with the crown, and made it from gift wrap paper.

60th Birthday cake
A friend of mine surprised his Mom with a wonderful party, and this cake! Its all Red Velvet cake with cream cheese icing, covered in fondant. I carved the "numbers" from two sheet cakes, and I placed a photo of her to give it more of a personal touch. The scroll work was piped with Royal Icing. sheet cakes. This was a massive cake and weighed a ton, but I had alot of fun making it.
