Strawberry Shortcake Strawberry and Cream cake
My little girl really loves Strawberry Shortcake, the character, and Strawberry Shortcake, the cake! So she sat me down and said that is what she wanted for her 4th birthday! They grow up so fast, don't they? So I made vanilla cake, and filled each tier with vanilla cream and fresh strawberries. Each cake is iced in vanilla buttercream and covered in fondant.
Snake Party Birthday Cake
This fella was a hit at the Snake theme party for a little boy turning 5. All chocolate with chocolate icing and fondant. I made the design by baking two 8 inch cakes, and after icing them, I cut each in half with a smaller cutout in the middle. So imagine, each half cake looked like the letter "C". Then I merged them together to get the swirly shape and covered in icing.
Spring Butterfly cake
A lovely chocolate cake with chocolate icing, covered in fondant. Very girly, and cute, the grass took forever as i made individual cuts to create the look. Something tells me there is a much easier way LOL!!! I also made the cake topper from foamcore, glitter foam as well as cutouts and attachments.
Real Madrid Football cake
This is a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant. This was made a for an avid soccer fan of Real Madrid Football Club. Now as much as I'd like to take credit for the logo, its really a photo image transferred on to edible rice paper. Just a heads up, it is very tricky to remove it from the backing its attached to. It crumbles if you don't handle it gently!
Tropical Delight Birthday Cake
Marble birthday cake with chocolate icing and fondant. I hand cut each flower design from fondant with use of a paper template. I then attached them to the cake with a little bit of water.
Minnie Mouse Birthday cake
This is chocolate cake, fudge filling covered in chocolate icing and fondant. I had lots of fun with this cake, I just love lots of fun and girly details! I also made the cake topper for foamcore, glitter foam and cutouts.
Baby Air Jordan cake
I made this baby shower cake for a good friend of mine. It was my popular Pineapple Coconut cake, my favorite- with vanilla buttercream icing covered in fondant. I also made the shoes out of fondant and drew the Air Jordan logo on them too!
