Lavender Wedding Cake
My latest wedding cake is a Caribbean Black Cake, rich with fruits, rum and port wine. It's covered in a generous layer of marzipan almond paste, and fondant. The purpose of the marzipan is to keep the liquor from seeping through the fondant.
DJ Turntable cake
This was done for a local DJ's 40th Birthday party. The cake is Red Velvet, with Cream Cheese icing, covered in fondant. The caption on the cake, "Bless no Stress" is a saying that the DJ is noted for. This cake weighed a ton, and nearly put my back out trying to transport it, let alone getting it the fridge!
